School Uniform

School Distinctive Dress

A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students and anyone arriving at school in non-uniform clothing may expect to be sent home to get changed.  Fashion trends will not be accommodated. 

Girls in Years 7 to 11

  • Black tailored full length trousers (no denim or ‘skinny’ leg trousers) or, school green skirt (to be worn with thick black tights only)
  • White blouse
  • Plain black V-necked school jumper bearing the school logo
  • School tie
  • Black shoes and black socks (heels not above 2 inches - trainers must not be worn)

Boys Years 7 to 11

  • Black trousers (No denim or ‘skinny’ leg trousers)
  • White Shirt
  • Plain black V-necked school jumper bearing the school logo
  • School tie
  • Black shoes and black socks - (Trainers must not be worn) 

Years 12 & 13

  • Black tailored trousers (no denim or ’skinny’ leg trousers) or black skirt (to be worn with thick black tights only)
  • Plain black V-necked Sixth Form jumper bearing the school logo
  • Sixth Form Tie (issued by the school)
  • White Shirt
  • Black Shoes and black socks  

All Pupils (Optional)

During the summer term only, pupils may wear a white school polo shirt bearing the school logo.

Dark coloured plain coat (hooded tops cannot be worn in place of a coat) 

P.E. and Games Kit (Girls)

  • Bottle green skirt
  • New Black/Gold/Green Lightweight Sportstop
  • Green/gold sports socks
  • Green school hooded top
  • Swimming costume (dark colour) 

P.E. and Games Kit (Boys)

  • Bottle green or black shorts
  • New Black/Green/Gold Lightweight Sportstop
  • School rugby jersey
  • Green/gold sports socks
  • Swimming shorts (dark colour) 

Technology/Food

An apron is required. 

Practical Subjects

Pupils are advised to make provision to protect their school uniform during these lessons.  Advice may be obtained from the staff concerned. 

ALL ARTICLES OF UNIFORM SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE PUPIL’S NAME AND FORM
