Bryntirion Celebrates Success Across GCSE, AS and A Level Results

Bryntirion Comprehensive School is celebrating the achievements of its Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 pupils following another successful examination season.
At GCSE, nearly two-thirds of pupils achieved at least five A*-C grades including English and Mathematics, whilst the proportion of pupils achieving five or more A*/A grades was 22.3%, reflecting strong performance across a broad range of subjects.
Year 10 pupils also achieved highly in individual units of the new GCSE qualifications which augers well for another strong set of result next year.
At A Level, an impressive 95% of students achieved three or more A*-E grades, with 57% achieving three or more A*-C grades. Across all A Level entries, 23% of grades were awarded at A*/A* and 69% at A*-C.
Year 12 pupils also performed strongly in their AS qualifications, with 22% of entries achieving grade A, 65% achieving grades A-C, and 90% achieving grades A-E.

These results are testament to the hard work, resilience and determination shown by our students throughout the year, supported by the dedication of our staff and the encouragement of parents and carers. It is particularly pleasing to see strong outcomes across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, providing our young people with excellent foundations for their future education, training and careers."
